We thank our friends for the receipt of a number of Public Documents from Hon. E. W. Pickens.—
In addition to the South-Carolina Address, we have been favored with a considerable quantity of other interesting matter, for publication. Our readers, especially those interested in the science of Agriculture, will find that the time taken to peruse the Address, well spent. For ourself, we have no hesitation in pronouncing it one of the best productions of the kind, that has ever appeared in our columns.
