By the arrival, on Tuesday last, of the brig Acorn, Capt. Folgier, Paris accounts to the 23d August have been received. It does not appear, however, from the scanty intelligence which they furnish, that any events of importance had recently transpired on the continent of Europe.
They mention the return to Paris of the Emperor, from his tour of review and inspection on the coast; and state a report, that the camps were breaking up, and the troops filing off towards Germany. On the general occurrences of the foreign or internal relations of France, they are as concise as a Dutch circular. [ibid.]
