STONEWALL BRIGADE BAND,

It must have been a source of delight to all the citizens of Staunton Tuesday morning, who witnessed the turnout of the "Stonewall Brigade Band" in their new and handsome full dress uniform, as they marched down to the B. & O station to board the train for the inauguration especially will it be pleasing to a large number of our city ladies and gentlemen who were also bound for Washington, to have with them so fine a representation of musical talent and gallantry. The Band reports direct to General Lee and will well wear the honors so closely associated with its history.

The uniform and glittering official insignia of the Drum Major were particularly noticed by all observers. They were furnished by McLilly & Co., of Columbus, Ohio. The uniforms of the members were made by our enterprising and stylish merchant tailor, Mr. M. F. McNamara. Dark blue ground trimmed with light blue and gold, are the styles in the make-up.

The splendid music of such an accomplished corps will attract much attention and the reputation which they will win on a national field will add another to the many pleasant associations which will in all time cluster around the "Stonewall Brigade Band." The following is the roll of the members who participated in the pleasures of this occasion:-
