WARREN, October 10.
On Tuesday last, agreeable to brigade orders, the regiment of militia, in the county of Bristol, commanded by Col. Joseph Adams, was reviewed by Major-General Martin, and Brigadier General Howland, and inspected by Col. John Collins, Brigade Inspector.—At 8 o'clock, A. M. the militia companies formed on their respective parades, and marched to their regimental rendezvous, where they were joined by the independent corps of Ready Volunteers, Troop of Horse, the Federal Blues, and the Bristol Grenadiers.
They went through their exercises and manoeuvres with considerable exactness, and with that alacrity and promptitude, which add lustre to the soldier's character, and do honour to the militia of Rhode-Island.
The spectators who were present on this occasion, were highly gratified at the soldier-like appearance and deportment of both officers and men.
