LOCAL BANKER RETURNS TO RUTGERS UNIVERSITY FOR THIRD SESSION AT THE GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BANKING

Mr. Joseph F. Lutkus, Auditor of the New Britain National Bank will return during June to the Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers- The State University for his third summer session.

With this session, which will be held on the University's campus in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he will complete his course at the School.

Mr. Lutkus is one of nearly 1,100 bank officers who will attend the two-week session of the School, which is sponsored by the American Bankers Association.

This student body, from 44 states; the District of Columbia; Puerto Rico; and Colombia, South America, represents a capacity enrollment.

The Graduate School was founded in 1935 by the A.B.A. to provide an opportunity for advanced study for experienced bankers. The faculty for the 1959 session numbers approximately (continued last page)

(continued from page 1). 100 outstanding bankers, lawyers, educators, bank supervisors, and government officials. During the session, they will cover all phases of banking, economics, law, government, and related subjects. Three major subjects are offered by the School- commercial banking, trusts, and savings management and real estate financing. Mr. Lutkus is majoring in Commercial Banking.

In addition to his three resident sessions at Rutgers, to qualify for graduation, Mr. Lutkus must have completed two years of extension study and written a thesis on original research in some phase of finance.

He and his wife and two daughters reside at 9 Kimberley Road, Newington.
