EXAMINER'S REPORT

On the Books, Accounts and Papers of Judge
R. R. Savage.

Special to The Age-Herald.

Montgomery, Nov. 20.—Governor Johnston today received the report of Assistant
Examiner Foster who has been engaged in the examination of the books
and accounts of R. R. Savage, judge of
probate and ex-officio clerk of Cherokee
county court.

The report shows a fairly good condition of the county books and papers.
There are, however, some irregularities
in the records, and a shortage of about
$50 is due the state.
