U. S. navy volunteers completing enlistment procedure last week at the Arizona district main navy recruiting and induction station at Phoenix included 17-year-old Homer Glenn Dunbar of Coolidge.
Young Dunbar, former Coolidge high school student and son of Mrs. Nannie L. Dunbar, volunteered for naval service.
Dunbar now is entering recruit training at San Diego, upon completion of which he will receive an opportunity to qualify for specialized training in one of the navy's 50 service schools.
Coolidge men accepted by the navy last week upon induction into the armed forces via selective service were: Harvey Rafael, 18; Donald D. Harris. 18 and John A. Martinez, 18.
