THE ORE IS HERE. And the Works are Ready for Their Daily Grist.

An entire train load of Cripple Creek ore is on the tracks in the yard of the Colorado & Southern road here, consigned to the Atlas Reduction company. The ore has been awaiting completion of the company's railroad scales before unloading. These were finished today and unloading was begun. Meantime the Atlas has been receiving ore from various Boulder county points and its bins are filling rapidly. Heretofore it has been doing nothing but sampling, but the finishing touches have been put on and at noon today the five Wolfrey tables began the concentration of the 4,000 tons of tailings on the dump at the mill. Meantime a large force of men have been putting in the cooling machine and it is expected this work will be finished within two days. Then will begin the reduction of the large tonnage of ore that has accumulated since Manager Grove took charge of the works. The Cripple Creek ore is largely from the Doctor, a property in which A. M. Stevenson of Denver is largely interested, Mr Stevenson's son-in law, Mr Begole, is bookkeeper of the Atlas company. Both Manager Grove and Mr Tim O'Connor are working like beavers to put the works in shape to run their full capacity by the end of the current week.
