Full Text

" New Papers"-We have received the two first numbers of a weekly paper, imperial size, published at Rochester, entitled "Anti-Masonic Enquirer." We do not think it proper for our common political papers to enter into the masonic and anti-masonic controversy which is extending itself in our land. It is however highly proper, that papers should be established for the express purpose; and when their object is told by the very name which they assume, as in the above case, it offers no cause for complaint for the most fastidious opposer to the principles they support. We are indeed pleased to see the several and separate interests in our country, each supported by their own appropriate papers or periodical publications, and we wish them all success.
