Full Text
We insert the call for a Democratic meeting in this beat, at the request of several friends. We also insert the communication of "Cato," in relation to the County Convention. We think it would be better to hold the beat meetings on different days, as might be most convenient, and the county convention in April as first suggested, that there may be no ground for charging improper haste, and want of notice in the preliminary movements. Will our friends in the other beats consult and determine upon a suitable time for holding their meetings, and give notice of them? Every democrat in the county knows and feels that thorough and efficient organization is essential to success-and what democrat is there that will not manifest sufficient interest in the matter to effect this organization?
