Last Sunday arrived here Capt. Clark in 24 days from St. Martins, and informs, that a Packet was arrived at Barbados in 28 days from Falmouth, and Reports. that the King of Prussia has had a Battle with the Russians --cut the Army to Pieces with the Loss of 12000 of his Men-totally defeated the Austrian Army, taken Count Daun Prisoner,- immediately after, sent his Brother Prince Henry with a Detachment of 25000 Men to join Prince Ferdinand-- and has obtained a compleat Victory over the French, so that they could not rally 800 Men. Capt. Hopkins and Redfield came Passengers with Capt. Clark, and confirms the above, and who sailed from Barbados in Company with the Packet for Guadaloupe, but were taken by a Privateer; known by the Name of the Fly:
