The F B. B. Church Junior Ushers held their regular meeting at the home of our supervisor, Mme. Katharine Lewis, Jefferson street. Meeting was called to order by the chaplain, Mrs. Anna Nix Williams. The business session was led by the president, Miss Ethel Houston. Mrs. Dorothy Langston was elected vice president. A gift was presented to Mme. Katharine Lewis by Miss Dorethe Simmons in behalf of the ushers. We also gave Dea. T. B. Leo our board leader, a present and Mrs. Anna Nix Williams. After the meeting a buffet supper was served by the hostesses Mme. Katharine, Mesdames Virginia B. Carey, Beatrice Rivers. Those enjoying the evening were Mesdames Dorothy Langston, Evelyn Mathis, Lucile Braston, Edith Scott, Erma Sanders, Anna Nix Williams, Louise Greene, Gertrude Sheppard, Thomasena Graham, Miss Sadie Logree, Dorothy Simmons, Ethel Houston, Jack Johnson, Chas. A. Simmons, Ed. Williams, Claude Wright, Albert Battise. Our guests were Miss Hildred B. Fenderson, Mrs. Wiggins and Johnie Hill. Our escorts were little Misses Berneda Sanders and Dorothy Langston.
