BALTIMORE, Sept. 28.

From Caracas.—Our attentive correspondent at Caracas, writes, under date of the 1st inst. that there is nothing new since the action of the 8th and 12th of August, and the retreat of Morales to Porto Cabello on the 13th August, having lost, in the sally from the port, several hundred men, his light artillery, muskets, munitions, &c. &c. The report that he had despatched an expedition of 800 to 1000 men under Lorenzo, for Maracaybo, it appears is unfounded, and that he and all his forces are at Porto Cabello. Nat. Int.
