Donald Nelson
May Marry
Ex-College Queen

WASHINGTON, Jan. 23. (UP) - The capital heard rumors today that Donald M. Nelson, former war production chief and now a White House adviser, may marry 26-year-old Marguerite S. Coulbourne, the 1939 campus queen at George Washington university.

Neither the 55-year-old Nelson nor Miss Coulbourne would comment on the report.

Nelson was divorced in Chicago last week by his first wife, Mrs. Helen W. Nelson. Miss Coulbourne married Paul Strashun of New York at Miami in 1939. She resumed her maiden name after his death.

Nelson, a former Sears, Roebuck & Co. official, became chairman of the WPB early in 1942 but resigned several months ago to take on the role of an international trouble-shooter for President Roosevelt. He has offices in the White House.
