THEIR LOOKS TOLD THE STORY
Five Weiser prune growers were in Payette a few days ago to make a settlement with a distributor for the handling of their 1923 crop and like many other growers this year, their balance was in red figures and after digging up to make good the deficiency in freight, they were slowly walking down the street when two small boys noticed the strangers in town, when one said to the other, "I wonder who those guys are?" "I don't know," said the other lad, "but they look to me like a bunch of pallbearers."
