A DUEL.

Was fought on Saturday last near Bladensburg, between Lieutenants Hall and Hopkins, of Col. Carberry's Regiment.—At the second fire Lieut. Hopkins received the ball from his antagonist's pistol in the breast, and expired immediately. What led to this unfortunate occurrence we have not learnt—The parties are represented to be quite youths—It is much to be lamented that there was to be found men more advanced in years, to aid and abet in this affair of honor—but such is the fact.
