RIVALRY SHARP
For the Right of Way to Wheeling—Complications Probable.

The Cleveland Leader says: President Blood, of the Cleveland & Canton, who is also president of the South Pennsylvania & Ohio, returned to Cleveland yesterday from Wheeling, where, with W. O. Chapman, vice president and treasurer of the Cleveland & Canton, Judge R. H. Cochran, of Toledo, president of the Wheeling & Harrisburg, H. A. Kennedy, of Canton, chief engineer of the Blood system of roads, Lewis W. Sutherland, vice president, and O. Russell Wood, secretary of the South Pennsylvania & Ohio, N. W. Dunbar, a prominent banker of Boston, and several other Boston capitalists, he has been inspecting the much talked-of South Pennsylvania & Ohio project which it is proposed to build to Sherrodsville the southeastern terminus of the Cleveland & Canton, to Wheeling. From all appearances the project will be pushed vigorously, but the rivalry for the possession of the right of way is so sharp that there are any quantity of probable complications ahead.
