FIRST COMMUNION CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Miss Mae Hendrickson entered upon her new duties as teacher of the Primary Dept. last Sunday, replacing Mrs. Hodge who will continue to assist.

Mr. Foshaug, YMCA resident, lead the congregational singing for the Sunday morning services. The sermon was delivered by the pastor, Rev. J. C. Hodge: "Christ, The Light In Darkness."

Text was from John 8:12, Then spake Jesus again unto them saying, "I am the light of the world. He that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

The sermon was a timely and instructive discourse on the state of unregenerated humanity. Services were inspiring, dedicated and blessed by the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Among the visitors at the morning service was Mrs. Delores Shealey, 1010 Knox Ave. N. Mrs. Shealey is the mother of one of the regular primary pupils, Sandra Perkins.
