TICKET SALE IS INAUGURATED FOR 10,000 CLUB SHOW

Tickets are on sale today for the Woman's Ten Thousand club play, "One of the Family," to be presented at Wilson school, March 10 and 11, under the direction of Miss Greta Gould.

In charge of the sale is a committee comprising Mrs. Fred Cross, Mrs. P. E. Ryerson, Mrs. C. O. Barratt, Mrs. C. C. Jenkins, Mrs. C. S. Thatcher. Assisting the club women in distributing the tickets are a number of young men, including James Persinger, Russell Lewis and Bill Woodford. Other names will be added to this list during the week, it is anticipated.

Handsome posters appearing in the down town shop windows today are the work of Frank L. Morrison, talented young artist formerly a student at Otis Art Institute. Mr. Morrison is also assisting with the building of scenery for the production in which he has an important part to play, the villain, in fact.

Another advertising feature of large proportions is being contributed by Mrs. Edna Morrison, photographer at the Vreeland studio. This is to be a handsome window card bearing the photographs of all the members of the play cast which will be on display in the window of M. O. King Co., several days before the performances.

Under the direction of Morris Fox the flats for two domestic interiors of quite different types are being built this week. Mr. Fox has the assistance of both Morrison and Mrs. Fox. The latter is engaged in painting a group of family portraits to adorn the walls of the Back Bay Boston mansion that is depicted in the first act of the play.

Properties will be obtained by a committee of which Mrs. F. A. Burger is chairman. She will be assisted by Mrs. S. P. Williams, Mrs. Senn Bason and Mrs. H. C. Diller.

Sound effects and off-stage noises, so essential to any stage production, will be in the hands of James Persinger, who is planning some very naturalistic adjuncts in that line.

With all this aid enlisted, an excellent cast and a competent director, the performances next week promise to be successful in a big way. In view of the fact that amateur theatricals have been few and far between of recent years this production should be unusually well attended, as past experience has shown that people like a "home talent" show, where there is real talent displayed.
