Full Text
The ship Arno, Marchant, arrived at Boston, on Thursday last, in the remarkably short passage of 29 days from Elsinore--52 from Petersburg.
The prediction of glorious consequences which were to result, from the influence of our new minister at Copenhagen like all prophecies of good from the hands of Bonaparte or his allies, turn out totally fallacious. It will be seen that the Danes war upon our flag with as much zeal as ever; and French privateers spare nothing they can touch. They profess to act under orders to carry in all American vessels with colonial produce on board : and say they are instructed to consider Cotton, colonial produce, wherever it may have been raised.
The Danes continue to interdict British commerce, under every form, and there was no expectation of any relaxation in its favor.
