Last Sunday found us gathering together, giving thanks to God. Sunday School, under the direction of our Supt. Peter Williams, met at 9 a.m. At the 11 a.m. service our pastor delivered a powerful message which was soul filling and reviving. The text was taken from I Tim. 6:11-12; subject, "The Battle of Life."
The BTU, under the direction of Mrs. Alyce Washington, the president, met at 5:30 p.m. At the 7:00 p.m. service, the Rev. H. W. Brown of Bethel Baptist Church, Nassau, Bahamas, delivered a powerful message from Rev. 21:1; subject, "God's New World."
Sunday, October 26, is Women's Day at St. Luke. Mrs. R. L. Holly of Ft. Lauderdale is the speaker of the morning.
