Chicago, Ills., Dec. 2. - It is reported to-night that none of the indictments returned by the Grand Jury to-day had any connection with the alleged election frauds; that no such indictments have been presented to the Court and that the investigations of yesterday and to-day have gone far to convince the jury that the indictments agreed upon last week, but not presented, against certain of the judges and clerks of election are not warranted and will be annulled unless further complicated by subsequent testimony. It is learned to-morrow that E. B. Wright, of the printing firm of Hanscom & Co. testified before the Grand Jury to-day that J. C. Makin, Secretary of the Democratic County Committee, gave the order for the bogus Eighteenth Ward ballots, that they were printed in his room at the Palmer House at 10 o'clock in the evening of November 21st.
