Begins in Valley
Flax harvest began this week and will increase in volume by next week according to B. A. Harrigan, agricultural commissioner.
Some harvesting problems are still being encountered and growers will have the opportunity next week to confer with J. P. Fairbank, extension specialist in agricultural engineering who will be in the county for one week and who will be available for conferences.
A large majority of growers have already signed contracts which give them a good price on their product.
