ANOTHER SALE OF SHEEP.—Edwin Hammond of this town recently purchased from the flock of Capt. E. S. Stowell of Cornwall seven ewes for the sum of $725. Mr. Stowell first selected nine from a flock of thirty-eight, and from the remainder Mr. Hammond selected the seven. We noticed a week ago a purchase by Geo. Campbell of Westminster of Edgar Sanford of Cornwall. We have since learned that in addition, Mr. Campbell bought of Edwin Hammond of this place six sheep for $1400, and of Hon. W. H. Sanford of Orwell, five for $500, making 26 sheep at a cost of $3700.—Register.
