Valleyites to Attend Freight Rate Meeting

The first annual meeting of the Freight Rate Equality federation,
an affiliate of the West Texas chamber of commerce seeking equalized freight rates in the South, will meet at Big Spring May 16.

The McAllen chamber of commerce is a member of this bureau, and V. E. Cook, Sam Miller, and H. H. Hensley are the McAllen representatives of the advisory board. The work is handled by the West Texas chamber, which has taken the lead in the South in opposing discriminatory freight rates.
