The names of those who perished are: Geo. Dryden, an Englishman; Augustus Tileston, of Vt.; Daniel Canton, of New York; John Smith a Swede, and a Greek, boy, of Smyrna. Capt. P. had one foot frozen, and otherwise frost bitten; Martin Adams, chief mate, both hands and feet frozen, and badly bruised, James Warden, 2d mate, hands frozen, feet frost bitten; Elijah Butler, hands and feet frozen; Lewis Almeida, hands and feet frozen, and badly frosted; Cook slightly frosted.
