LIBERTY LEAGUE FAVORS
RESTORATION OF LAWS

(By the Federated Press.)

LaCrosse, Wis., July 30.--The
Trades Union Liberty league of Wis-
consin voted at its convention here
to broaden its activities to include
in its object a campaign to enforce
the carrying out of the real intent
of the constitution of the United
States as stated in the bill of rights
and to fight for personal liberty in
every
respect and to support
any
person, organization or press in their
exercise of their rights and privileges
guaranteed in article 1 of the federal
constitution.
This means that the league will
get into the fight for amnesty for
political prisoners and conscientious
objectors, for the quashing
of all
cases pending under the espionage
act and for the repeal of this act.
