Full Text

Mr. Fowle,
As the Town of Boston is universally allowed to be Suffering for ALL AMERICA, and as every Government on the Continent are contributing for the Support of the Poor of that patriotic Town, it is earnestly recommended that a general Collection be made throughout this Province, for the same Glorious Purpose, that our Enemies may see, when the Constitutional Liberties and Privileges of any one Place is attacked, we will give them every Relief in our Power. The Spirit of Unanimity is gone forth and spread itself upon the Face of all America, and all the Powers on Earth cannot break the Chain of Union that is now formed and forming ; it strengthens more by the Opposition of our Oppressors.—The Mode of collecting this Charity, may be considered of by each Town : It is proposed that every Donation should be sent in Provision ; therefore those who cannot give in Money, may give in Corn, &c. and when collected may then advise with their Brethren of the neighbouring Towns. Oxen, Hogs, Sheep, and every kind of Provision will be acceptable.
