ARE AFTER THE GIRLS
Twenty-four hundred motor-men and conductors on Cleveland railroads go on strike.
Claim that railway company had agreed to discharge these female conductors, working since last August, on first of November, and that time was afterward extended to the first of December.

Cleveland, Ohio, Dec. 3.—To enforce their claim against the Cleveland railway company regarding women employees as conductors since last August 2nd, motormen and conductors went on strike, they say. The employees charge the company with failing to remove the women on November 1st and the deadline extended until December 1st, we learn.
