ST. LOUIS-(ANP)--Final rites were held here Saturday for Dr. E. A. South, well known physician whose body was found Thursday in his combination home-office on South Beaumont street. Following a post mortem examination by Dr. J. J. Thomas, Deputy Coroner Perry had returned a verdict of death from bronchial pneumonia.
Physician's wife is principal of Attucks School in Washington Mo and he had spent the previous week-end visiting. Returning to St. Louis his continued absence was first noted by Mrs South's brother H B Goins, principal Douglass School Webster Groves. Mo.. who wired his sister he had not seen the doctor for several days.
