SUPREME COURT OF THE U. STATES.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 18, 1828.

The Court met at eleven o'clock.

Present, all the Judges.

On motion of Mr. Sergeant, J. B. Sutherland Esquire, of Pennsylvania, was duly admitted an Attorney and Counsellor of this Court.

No. 20. James L. McKenna and others vs. The Bank of Potomac. Writ of Error to Circuit Court of District of Columbia, holden in Alexandria County; Judgment of Circuit Court affirmed, with costs and damages at the rate of ten per centum per annum.

No. 23. Robert Perry vs. James Tuck and others. Error to the Circuit Court of East Tennessee. Plaintiff in Error called, and failing to appear and prosecute his Writ, ordered that the writ of Error be dismissed.

No. 24. Bank of Washington vs. Triplett and Neale. This cause was argued by Mr. Key, for the Plaintiff in Error; by Mr. Jones for the Defendants in Error, and by Mr. Key in reply, for the Plaintiff in Error.

Nov. 27. Mandeville vs. Holly and Suckley. This case was argued by Mr. Swann for the Plaintiff in Error, and by Mr. Taylor for the Defendants in Error.

No. 29. The Mechanics' Bank of Alexandria vs. Seaton. This cause was argued by Messrs. Swann and Worth for the Appellant.

The Court adjourned till to-morrow morning at 11 o'clock.
