1. The trespass committed on the Austrian territory by entering it with an armed force, and interring the body of a soldier in the church yard of Doel, which the commander of the detachment asserted to belong in full sovereignty to the States-General.
2. The arresting their subjects, or causing them to be arrested, in the Austrian dominions without leave, and in contradiction to the Emperor's edicts.
3. The seizure of goods sent from Antwerp by the Scheldt to the inhabitants of Flanders in Brabant, under pretence that all such goods should pass by the quay of Lillo.
4. The exaction of a new and unusual duty from all fishing boats belonging to the Emperor's subjects, every time they pass up or down the Scheldt under pain of seizure.
5. The refusal to give satisfaction for a trespass committed by the governor of Lillo, in exercising his garrison on a spot of ground without the limits of the fortifications (consequently in the dominions of his Imperial majesty) and claiming the said spot as their property.
In answer to this the Dutch have transmitted a counter-memorial, in which they assert their claim to the territory of Doel, but profess their willingness to refer the matters in dispute to the decision of commissioners to be appointed by both parties.
