St. Louis, June 26--Gen. Clark and Col. W. Morgan, Commissioners on the part of the Government accompanied by Maj. Dougherty, with a deputation of Indians from the Ottos, Missouries, upper and lower Ioways, Missouri Sacs, and one of the Teton tribe of Sioux, left town on Thursday last for Prairie du Chien. They have gone for the purpose of treating with the different tribes on the Mississippi and Missouri, in order to determine their respective boundaries, and if possible to purchase the lands which they claim.
