Brought Over by
H. Elkan, Missing

Harry Elkan brought over from
France a famous fox terrier, "Bus,"
and for which a cool $1,000 would
not have tempted Mr. Elkan. The lit-
tle terrier disappeared January 16,
and there is not the slightest clue as
to his whereabouts. Busigny, the dog-
gie's real name, is white, with light
brown ears, and quickly answers to
the name
of
"Bus,"
pronounced
"Buce." Mr. Elkan was much attach-
ed. The little favorite capered up
alongside Harry's regiment on a
march one day in France, and remain-
ed with them all through the war.
Coming back aboardship Busigny was
a great favorite and had his name in
the New York papers along with the
big guns of the army. A reward is
offered for his return.
