SATURDAY last his Excellency the Governor was pleased to adjourn the General Assembly of this Province, to Tuesday the 12th of June next, then to meet at the Court House in Portsmouth; first giving his consent to the following Acts, viz.
An Act to authorize certain Persons therein named to collect Arrearages of Taxes, as therein declared.
An Act for reviving and making perpetual an Act, intitled An Act more effectually to prevent Profane Cursing and Swearing.
An Act for erecting a new Parish within the Township of Chester in this Province.
An Act for easing certain Persons therein named, being Quakers, of a Tax to which they were assessed as in said Act is declared.
An Act for granting unto his Most Excellent Majesty, the Sum of Three Thousand Pounds New Tenor, for the Ends and Purposes in said Act mentioned.
An Act for ascertaining what Places may send Representatives to the General Assembly.
An Act to preserve the FISH in Merrimack River, within this Province, and prevent the unnecessary Destruction thereof.
An Act for making Partition of certain Lands in Exeter in this Province.
An Act for constituting a Guardian and directing the Disposition of a certain Estate for the Use of his Ward, and other Uses therein declared.
