Baltimore
Convention.

THIRD DAY
BALTIMORE, June 20, 1860.

The Convention met this afternoon, and immediately adjourned till to-morrow morning, the Committee on Credentials not being ready to report.

It is rumored that the delay in the report of the Committee on Credentials is designed so embarrass the seceding delegations, who have to meet to-morrow at Richmond, in rebellion against the Democratic organization, while seeking admission into the democratic convention.

The Committee on Credentials held a meeting with closed doors, but it is supposed that three reports will be made. Rumor says that the majority report admits the original delegation from Mississippi, and the Douglas delegates from Louisiana, headed by Mr. Soule, by a vote of 11 to 9 in the committee; the Douglas delegates from Alabama headed by Gov. Winston 14 to 11; divides Georgia and Arkansas between the originals and contestants. Admits contestants from Delaware; and the contesting delegates from Texas, who have just arrived.

Of the minority reports one is supposed to favor the admission of all the delegates, and where contestants admitted dividing the vote of the delegation between them.

The other report admits all the delegates originally accredited to Charleston.

The Florida delegation has been telegraphed to come on here, in order to hold an adjourned seceders' convention here instead of at Richmond.

The seceders claim that their whole number under the bolt is 172, leaving 434 in the regular convention.
