Two years ago Kathy moved into town and since that time this active miss has done well. She is a senior at Newington High School and a nurse's aid after school at the Newington Home and Hospital for Crippled Children.

Kathy's first love is nursing. She has been accepted at Hartford Hospital and New Britain General Hospital and has decided to go to New Britain for her training.

At school Kathy keeps busy through active membership in the GAA, the French Club, the Honor Society and Future Nurses of America.

We hear that she is well liked and quite a student.

Why does Kathy want to be a nurse? She likes to be with people and enjoys helping them. Because of her sincerity, we are sure she will succeed.

Kathy lives with her parents and her brothers and sister—John 13, Jimmy 12 and Mary 8, at 29 Ralph Avenue.
