Full Text

The Curiosity of the Inhabitants at the east End of the Town has been greatly excited for these two or three Sundays past, by the Appearance of a Turkish Lady, just come over, and her three Daughters, at Mile End Church, in the proper Habits of their Country. The Mother, who is a Woman of Fashion, and married to a Gentleman of Consideration here, has a fine Person; her Daughters likewise are handsome, which, with the Advantage furnished them by their Eastern Dress, gives them all a very pleasing as well as curious Appearance. As to their Deportment, it is perfectly that of People of Rank. The only Circumstance to be lamented is that the Multitude of Gazers, with the rude Manner of indulging their Curiosity, common to the People of this Country, puts them greatly out of Countenance.
