MAN WHO STARTED M. E. CHURCH

Reverend Frizelle will preach Sunday during Anniversary month of local church.

On next Sunday morning, August 26, Rev. J. H. Frizelle will preach at the First Methodist church. Rev. Mr. Frizelle is the man who first organized the Methodist Church in Roanoke Rapids, back in 1898.

During the month of August this church is celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of moving into the new church building at the corner of Roanoke Avenue and Fourth Street. It is fitting that Mr. Frizelle should preach during this anniversary celebration, and the public is cordially invited to hear him.
