AN AGED WOMAN. Her Trip From Arizona to New Haven.

A Bridgeport paper says: Miss Lizzie Caulfmann, aged eighty-four, dropped into the Emergency Friday evening and asked for assistance. Although aged, Miss Caulfmann is sprightly, energetic and evidently not to be trifled with. She told a very odd story. Miss Lizzie had traveled all the way from Arizona and had been two weeks on the way. Her point of destination was New Haven, where she has a sister, a Mrs. Snyder, who lives somewhere on the outskirts of the Elm City. Lizzie got strapped, as the boys say, when she got to this city, and she therefore applied for assistance, Superintendent Brennan gave it to her, The matron, Mrs. Hill, supplied Miss Lizzie with a bed last evening, and escorted her to the train for New Haven Saturday morning.
