War With Mexico.
Chicago Times.

When war has actually begun between this country and Mexico there will be an administration party against which no opposition will make any headway. Its demand from the outset will be the removal of the American boundary from the line of the Rio Grande to the line of Central America. It will demand that all dominion in Mexico shall give place to American dominion. And that demand will be prosecuted to fulfillment. Within a year after the war begins, the peace and order which have prevailed in New Mexico since it became American territory will prevail in old Mexico, too. And those who opposed the war will be going about swearing that they did not.
