M. H. S. PEPITORIALS.
Only one more week till Christmas holidays.
And then one more week till after-Christmas holler days.
They will be "holler" days because mid-terms will be so close.
After exams they will be hollow days - nothing in them but tender memories of 60 in English, etc.
Who loves an "F?"
Does there breathe one with a soul so dead?
Hey?
And yet who is there who hasn't one, to say this is my own, my native "F?"
"F" stands for "fair".
Yep, but sometimes it may stand for "failure," too.
Failure to get exemption.
Yes, dear girl, we have a grizzly "F" on our monthly disappointment, to o.
We can't trade it, sell it, lose it, nor give it away.
It stays right there in black and white until the bitter end unless oh, sweet unless. thou art our jewel!--we banish it into utter darkness by rough, ragged, rigid work.
But we hereby express our eternal thanks for the glori- ous opportunity given -us to clear this monstrous enemy, "F," from our decks.
To arms, to arms, ye brave.
Remember. the "holly days are about here.
You can get so excited that you will forget all about our friend, enemy.
