JOHN HOPE SCHOOL

The John Hope Band will be presented in concert at the Second Mt. Zion Baptist church on Tuesday, May 24, at 7:30 p. m.

The Band, initially organized in March 1958 with a membership of thirteen, now has forty-eight members. Eighteen will graduate in June.

The Band Parents' club, led by Mrs. Helen Brewer, will have its annual Band Banquet honoring worthy band and majorette students on Friday, May 27 in the cafeteria. Alfred D. Wyatt, band director at Price High School, will be the speaker.

The band is directed by Miss Frances Early.
