Dr. L. S. Cozart, above, was elected secretary-treasurer of the Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools for Negroes for his 19th consecutive term at the close of the association's 1952 convention in Memphis, recently.
Dr. Cozart is president of Barber-Scotia College, Concord, N. C. A graduate of Johnson C. Smith and Columbia universities, the educator has been outstanding in educational activities of his state and the nation for many years.
The Barber-Scotia president is active in the Presbyterian Church of the USA and has filled numerous posts in his church.
