Correspondence of The Robesonian.
Red Springs. R. F. D. 4. Feb. 18-We had quite a little storm last night.
Mr. J. G. Humphrey has just completed his new residence, which he will soon move into.
A new coat of paint has added much to the improvement of the school building at this place.
The death angel recently visited our community and took away Mr. Jim McNeill and his eldest son, Cleaveland, and eldest daughter, Maybelle. All died in 8 days time with pneumonia. We extend our heart-felt sympathy to the bereaved ones and also to Mr. Will McNeill and family in the loss of their little daughter, Clyde, which occurred shortly afterwards. She was about 14 years of age.
Messrs. W. J., F. A. and Willie Humphrey spent Tuesday in Lumberton on business.
Several of our young folks were expecting to attend an entertainment at Mr. Watson's at Rennert last evening.
Services will be held here Sunday afternoon as usual.
Mrs. J. D. Carver, of Ivanhoe, is visiting her father and other relatives in this vicinity.
We are glad to see Messrs. J. A. and D. H. Brown out again after a brief attack of grippe.
