A Girl Goes From Her Mother's Grave to Death.
MIDDLETON, Conn., Oct. 12.—The body of Anna Neuberth, sixteen years old, was found in Crystal Lake, three miles from this city, yesterday afternoon. She disappeared last Sunday afternoon after telling her father she was going to carry some flowers to Indian Hill Cemetery to place on the grave of her mother. A dog which had accompanied her returned at midnight alone. No trace was found of the girl until this morning, when her hat was found in the pond. Search was then made, and the body was recovered in fifteen feet of water. It was plainly a case of suicide, as her footprints were traced to the edge of the lake. She visited the cemetery and covered her mother's grave with flowers and then walked out to Lakeview Park and through the park to the end of the lake.
