National War Fund Drive Gets Underway In Holmes County This Week; $12,500. Quota

Community Chairmen Appointed; Pat Barrett County Chairman

Holmes County's quota in the current National War Fund drive has been set at $12,500 according to County Chairman Pat Barrett.

Quotas throughout the county are substantially the same as last year since the county quota is only $500 less than last year.

Mr. Barrett said that while the war is over the need for the agencies supported by the National War Fund remains. There are still thousands of American servicemen overseas in Europe and the Pacific and will be for some time.

Funds given in this drive largely support the USO at home and abroad and other agencies which aid our servicemen and our Allies.

Committeemen and women heading the drive in the various communities in Holmes county are:
