Full Text

PROCEEDINGS OF THE GENERAL CONFERENCE.

We would respectfully suggest to the Book Agents at New York, the publication in pamphlet form, of the reported proceedings of the late General Conference. We think that all our ministers at least would desire to possess them for reference, and they might serve a valuable purpose in future years, by showing what views were entertained in reference to many points of our discipline, in this our day. Their publication in the official papers of our Church, does not, we think, supersede the necessity of them in pamphlet form, which would be much more convenient for preservation and reference.

Respectful suggestion to the Book Agents at New York for publication in pamphlet form of the reported proceedings of the late General Conference, desired by ministers for reference and valuable for future views on church discipline points; newspaper publication does not replace the need for pamphlets due to convenience for preservation.
