A society of Noblemen and Gentlemen, of the kingdom of Ireland, dined at a tavern in Pall-mall on the 17th ult. (St. Patrick's day) when they came to a resolution to erect a monument, by subscription, in St. Patrick's cathedral in Dublin, to the memory of the late Dean Swift. One hundred and eighty guineas were then subscribed; and they are to meet and dine together on the first day of June next, when they are to close their subscription, and to elect a committee to carry their design into execution.
