We learn from good authority, that the inhabitants of the territories of the State of Vermont did, on the 21st of Feb. last, relinquish all claims to the unions which they had joined on the eastern side of Connecticut river: as also the western union, which contained part of the State of New-York: the Representatives who composed said union, have returned to their respective homes.

The old territories of Vermont have chosen Agents, instructed them to sign the articles of union and Confederation, and have fully complied with the resolve of Congress in August last, in all respects, without any reservation.
